Spot on comment and great article. People need to wake up. This is happening all over the U.S. as well. These cities are being built all over the country as we speak.

Stated about Gates 'During the talk, he also stated that reducing the economic standard of living, by targeting consumption and demand, is another method of achieving emission targets.' This is what we are struggling with currently, fighting the bad food, water, air, technology and to top it all insultingly poor medical treatment. Every day is a struggle to avoid the medical disasters set before us.

Yeah, he's a nasty critter, although half the battle is recognizing the agenda laid out and choosing a different path. The rest of the battle is developing enough systems to resist the "targeting [of] consumption and demand," which is certainly no easy overnight task.

The danger with a 15-minute city is our natural desire to centrally plan it so.

With relaxed zoning laws and perhaps land value taxation (as opposed to property taxes), we should expect something like a 15-minute city to naturally develop on its own.

That's fair. They are evil. There are some good preparedness and gardening channels on YouTube I watch. I wish they would go to Rumble, but that's the state of affairs as is.

I think I've seen that. There's a creepy amount of "predictive" content in movies and shows, like Black Mirror. I never understood Eyes Wide Shut when it first came out, but now I understand how you can see something but have your mind shut off to it.
