Agreed. There's not enough focus on food. I should see lawns and yards covered in gardens and medicinal herbs. If people understood the real risk we face, the yards without gardens would be the oddballs.
I agree! People just don’t understand. They are also afraid of failure. We’ve been doing this since 2010 and have experienced several failures of certain crops and pest infestations. These things help you learn!
I have killed a lot of plants and made a lot of gross food. Even this year I've had a few setbacks, but it's easier to spot my mistakes and recover. It's not the kind of thing you just pick up when there's a major crisis, and I still have a lot more learning to do.
Haha same here. I get it. It’s a little heartbreaking when you have a failure, but you learn and the next time you can do a better job of getting ahead of potential problems.
