I love me some permaculture, and a big thing there is turning your waste into your fertilizer. There’s some gnarly symmetry with that idea about how to grow food, and this Jungian filth you’re talking about that is right there waiting for you to grow yourself from it
Couldn't agree more. A lot of fertilizer methods I've stumbled upon are very, very disgusting, to put it kindly. Composting "animal by-products," and even human urine (haven't done that yet, but looks awful), is pretty nasty business, but that's the filth that must be ventured into... I got one of my JADAM solutions to smell like liquid horse manure, which I guess is something to be proud of? I also don't think I've seen, or touched, more centipedes in my life than since I've started composting.
Wow!!! Amazing Theodore. “These are the egos that sit at the top of corporate, government and international power.” This was a riveting and highly interesting post.
I'm glad you liked it! I really enjoy some of these odd-ball philosophical concepts, because they're normally bland on their own, but in the right context they're very revealing. I liked exploring the anti-hero concept as the inverse, because it really does spell out a lot of the behaviour I'm disgusted with in society. Also kind of creepy how it can tie into some of those culty belief systems too.
I've been reading a lot about using pee + straw to create ammonium nitrate, apparently they use to do that back in the civil war times to make gun powder. I bet that a mixture of that + green waste would make wonderful compost. I'd like to be able to compare methods, which probably requires small controls to compare yield / plant health differences; I'll eventually get around to that...
It's amazing how some stories are able to heal hearts and minds. There really is something profound behind the art.

Yes I enjoyed reading about the anti-hero concept as well. It’s real life played out in stories!
Nice one matey.
Thanks :)
