Technocracy is a form of government where subject matter experts — and those with immense technical knowledge — are appointed to public governing positions.
In theory, these decision makers — otherwise known as technocrats — make decisions based on scientific data, or objective systematic methods, instead of subjective political opinion. These leaders are selected based on proven performance instead of popularity or political affiliation.1
Thus in principle, all decisions are based on scientific models or systematic methods.
A California engineer named William Henry Smyth introduced the term in his 1919 article titled Technocracy – Ways and Means to Gain Industrial Democracy. During the Great Depression, public interest grew in technocracy as potential solution to address the severe economic downturn. However, interest declined when FDR2 introduced the New Deal, which addressed the downtun via public work and financial reforms.
Technocracy is usually discussed within the context of a representative democracy. However, few ask the following question.
What would a totalitarian technocracy look like?
In a previous article, I described how fascism is effectively corporate totalitarianism, where government and corporate cooperation dictate all aspects of individual life.
In technocratic corporate totalitarianism (technofascism), economic command and all aspects of individual life are facilitated through modern technology. Traditional fascism uses relentless state propaganda to manufacture consent and mould the behaviour of individuals, groups and society.
In another article, I outlined the goals of propagandists and their tool requirements.
The goals of the propagandist are to:
Shape identity to constrain will and image.
Restrict thoughts and manage knowledge and beliefs.
Fragment feelings by instilling traumatic experience and an unproductive attitude.
With this in place, then desired behaviour can be induced through tools.
The generalized tools the propagandist uses to lead behaviour are:
False images.
(Attack and inflate the ego or install a false persona).False beliefs.
(Distort perception with misleading language and symbols).False attitudes.
(Manipulate emotions through narrative).
Therefore in a technofascist state, we can envision a type of technology that is able to monitor and control behaviour by creating individual, group and social models that are capable of generating images, beliefs and attitudes suitable for the regime. These are then human interfaced using social and behavioural psychology techniques through additional technology.
We now have a type of technology that is able to do this — Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Below are a collection of screenshots from a supposed JP Morgan Chase & Co. (JPMC&Co.) employee that alleges the corporation is using this type of technology. While these claims may or may not be true, please consider the statements in the context of a technocratic corporate totalitarian system of government.
In summary, the allegations are:
JPMC&Co. uses an employee surveillance tool called Workforce Activity Data Utility.
The tool stores a profile and AI / ML model(s) for each employee.
The models provide:
Predictive performance analytics.
Real-time monitoring through HD audio / visual and digital surveillance.
Managerial alerts for:
Low performance.
Suspicious behaviour.
Inappropriate behaviour.
A summary provides employee ranking based on performance.
Below are reddit screenshots taken from a Twitter thread describing this dystopian surveillance system allegedly used by JPMC&Co.
Real or not, JPMC&Co. has a significant incentive to do this.
Corporations are effectively profit maximization entities. Maximal profit occurs via optimal workforce productivity, regardless of any negative impact to human employees. A tool such as this economizes management tasks and delegates traditional soft skills to turnkey computer systems.
If this is not real then rest assured corporations would invest heavily to make it real.
Coincidentally, this topic emerged during a short presentation at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in 2023. During the presentation, a purported technology was showcased that interfaces humans with digital systems to enhance productivity.
The technology may even help fight crime or find you love!
In a technocratic corporate totalitarian state, this technology would be mandated for all legal businesses and integrated with government systems, and would form an automated social credit system where human behaviour is monitored and controlled through managerial AI systems.
Discipline would likely be carried out through automation.
Remember, in Nazi Germany it was illegal to:
Belong to any political group except the Nazi Party.
Tell jokes about Hitler.
Spread rumours about the government.
Discuss alternatives to the political status quo.
Anyone guilty of planning to alter the constitution or separate from the German Reich would be beheaded. In technofascism, guilt would be inferred through machines.
Do you think Digital IDs and CBDCs are harmless?

These digital technologies are your ritualistic initation to a dystopian hell reality. Do not be fooled by soft language or colourful campaigns. All state approved corporations would be required to use this evil technology and employees would be coerced into compliance. Employment outside of this system would be illegal and enforced.
Will you cower to the might and raw power of these evil systems to preserve your material comforts? Or will you resist this vile abomination, that seeks to enslave your descendants for millennia, with every fibre of your being?
I know my choice, what’s yours?
